Last week, I learned via Library Journal that librarians at the Toronto Public Library had gone out on strike. Today, some of them organized a knit-in. If I ever had to strike (unlikely at this time), this is definitely the kind of activity I could get into. I wonder if it attracts more positive attention from passers-by than just picketing with signs.
